(2019)Traditional Korean Costumes and Textiles

By presenting traditional Korean costumes, fabrics and the weaving and dyeing techniques used in the costume making process, the exhibition aims at enhancing the Chinese audience's understanding of Korean traditional costume culture and offering an opportunity for exchanges between China and Korea in the fields of inheritance, restoration and flexible application of this intangible cultural heritage.

(2017) Glory on Silk: French Textiles (1700 to the Present)

The history of silk in France was not very long, but it reached the peak of the world and was extremely glorious.This period of history can be divided into four periods: the initial period from 14th century to 16th century, the period of development in 17th century, the peak period of 18th century, and the recession in the second half of the 19th century.

(2018)Five Cardinal Colors . Grace . Dignity

The main theme of 2018 autumn exhibition is the color of Korean costume. Five cardinal colors (red, yellow, blue, white, black) are applied to the costume to emphasize the philosophical meanings. The characteristic of Korean costume lies in its intense contrast of colors. Proportional use of five colors increases the harmonious visual effect of each color.

(2018)Intangible Heritage of Korea and China Silk Weaving

The exhibition presents an overview of the intangible heritage of silk weaving and related culture from Korea and China, tracing back from the history of sericultcure. This exlubition highlights the development of silk weaving technology and related cultural aspects of both Korea and China, and provides insight to discovering the similarities and differences of both cultures.

(2018)A World of Looms: Weaving Technology and Textile Arts in China and Beyond

A World of Looms is organized by the China National Silk Museum with the support of many scholars and research institutions. It is the first exhibition in China to present the rich cultural heritage of looms and weaving technologies from around the world.
